Yep. Our title is weird. We know.
How did we come up with it, you ask?
After deciding to start a blog together, Amelia and I tried several ideas for titles. The first being 'Such a Spazz,' (which, needless to say we decided against later on,) and 'Plot Twist.' We thought, "Plot Twist would be such a perfect name for such a random blog, and such random authors!" Not only that, but we both love to write fiction, so it would have fit perfectly!
So we tried to make that our URL and title for our blog. But alas, the URL was already taken, so we had to come up with a different title. We tried different combinations: 'Plot Twister,' 'Plot Twisted,' 'Plot Twisted!,' 'Plot Twist!,' 'Plot Sisters' and finally 'Plot Twinsters.'
While 'Plot Twister' was available, we decided it sounded even too weird for us to use.
'Plot Sisters' was also available, but it lost the 'Plot Twist' meaning. Finally, Amelia suggested "Plot Twinsters?" We both laughed. Almost everyone we meet asks us the same question, "Are you two sisters?" The answer is always no, but apparently in everyone's eyes we look similar enough, act similarly enough, and think similarly enough to be sisters. And "Plot Twinsters" still maintains the pun which we originally wanted, "Plot Twist."
